Collaborating for Success

Operators in the business events sector have the opportunity to unlock significant revenue growth through strategic collaboration within the industry.

While partnerships may often feel like competition, the benefits of cooperation consistently outweigh the risks. Collaboration can take many forms, from joint ventures to resource sharing, yet key elements of successful partnerships are often overlooked.

The Business Events team recently conducted a series of presentations to  demystify the art of collaboration, providing practical guidance on how to develop robust support systems and foster mutually beneficial relationships.Attendees gained insights from real-world case studies and engaged in Q&A sessions, providing actionable strategies to drive growth and enhance business operations.

Business Events – Best Practice Session – Yamba 10 August 2023

The DNC team, in partnership with Clarence Valley Council presented a session on best practice for business events to key stakeholders in the beautiful township of Yamba on the 10th of August. This event was designed to support business owners in resetting to pre-Covid standards for management, sales and operations.

Feedback from this session has been positive and the team plan to run repeat sessions throughout the north coast to support the business events sector.

Our thanks goes out to Katee Blizzard and the Clarence Valley Council and Angourie Resort for demonstrating some real examples of best practice in Business Events.
