Michael Grieve

 

Michael has an extensive tourism background and a passion for innovation and entrepreneurship. He’s worked for the Australian Government and in Local Government delivering programs, initiatives and funding to support and develop visitor economies across NSW. He has a solid background as an industry executive – leading the Byron Shire Tourism Association for five years, working with the Northern Rivers Regional Tourism Association, Destination Coffs Coast and now as a Director with Destination North Coast. 

Michael is a strong advocate for Inclusive Tourism and working to manage visitor economies in line with community ideals. He has created and managed multiple businesses including: horse riding schools, restaurants and guest houses. Michael holds a Masters in Industry Strategy from ANU and Bachelor of Business in Tourism from SCU.
